Located in the heart of the millennia-old Gaillac vineyard, in the Tarn department, at the center of Occitanie, the Château de Salettes rises with its towers and enclosing wall, right in the middle of its vineyards. A charming and characterful building dating back to the 13th and 15th centuries, the Château de Salettes was the residence of the younger branch of the Toulouse-Lautrec family and then of the Hautpoul family. The famous General Jean Joseph Ange d’Hautpoul was born and raised in the Château before becoming a key figure in the Napoleonic Wars.
